Lee Ann Cafferata, PhD, is a historian of nineteenth-century industrial technology who recently began learning how to take photographs. After developing projects for several years as an exhibits curator for a national memorial in Washington, DC, and as a digital historian and adjunct faculty through the Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and New Media at George Mason University, photography presents a new challenge blending technology and creativity.
Her goals are to create historic narratives through landscape photography, to picture how the land, people, and time shape each other.
